Παγκόσμια Ημέρα DNA

Σαν σήμερα το 1953 οι James Watson, Francis Crick, Maurice Wilkins, Rosalind Franklin δημοσίευσαν τις εργασίες τους στον επιστημονική επιθεώρηση Nature πάνω στη δομή του DNA.

 

Λατρεύω το Βρετανικό φλέγμα που επέδειξαν στη δημοσίευση και αντιγράφω: “It has not escaped our notice that the specific pairing we have postulated immediately suggests a possible copying mechanism for the genetic material”.
